Hilary has amazing customer service skills, and a great ability to liaise with myself and my bridesmaids to understand how we wanted to look. The hair and the makeup were so soft and natural and had incredible detail and precision. I didn’t have an easy time organising most of my wedding in Herefordshire as I live in Nottingham, Hilary booked me in for a trial only days before my wedding. She advised me on my look and was so friendly and approachable throughout, it made a HUGE difference.

Hilary did my hair and make up for my wedding in December along with my two bridesmaids and mum. We couldn’t have been happier with the results! We all felt beautiful and Hilary managed to pick the perfect styles for us. When attending the trials beforehand, she listened carefully to what I wanted as well as encouraging me to go for things I wouldn’t of thought of – and I’m so glad she did! Hilary’s professionalism on the morning of the wedding made the preparations go without a hitch and she was a joy to work with. Would highly recommend to all brides

I was contacted recently by a 76 year old woman who was suffering from hair loss and found her life was being dictated by her hair.  This was causing her a significant amount of distress, so much so, that she finally decided to ask for help.  I arranged for her to come for a consultation so that we could discuss options together.  At the consultation, it was clear that she was very nervous and that asking for help was a big step for her to have taken.  I discussed options with her and we looked at possible styles for a wig.  It was agreed that we would order some samples of the styles that she liked and arrange a follow up appointment.  Within 3 days, the sample wigs had arrived, a further consultation had taken place and a wig had been chosen and fitted.  The transformation was incredible, but don’t just take my word for it; below are some of the messages I received following the wig fitting:

“When I arrived home, I was very nervous about how my husband would react to it but he absolutely loves it and says it is the right style and colour for me…I think I relaxed then, hence the glasses of wine.  I put it on this morning and just tweaked a bit here and there, so much easier and quicker than styling my own hair.  I can’t stop looking at it, it is exactly how I would have chosen to style my own hair were it of sufficient quantity. 

I can’t thank you enough for all your help and considerable knowledge, this has transformed my life.  I was so nervous when I realised that this was the only option open to me, it was a huge decision to make but I knew I had to do it for the sake of my mental health.  I spent hours trawling through the internet and there you were, right on my doorstep.  You are such an easy person to talk to and, because of your experience, you completely understand.  I feel twenty years younger in myself, it is like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.  Now, when I play golf, I can concentrate on hitting the ball and not on wondering if the wind is going to blow or if it is going to rain and how I am going to look when we get back into the clubhouse – wonderful! Maybe my handicap will improve!  I have cancelled my next highlight/trim appointment so will be in touch at some point to arrange a trim with you…”

“…I am still smiling! I went to golf yesterday and there were more ladies there but only two made a comment and that was “I like your hair”, so I was very happy…My group of friends said again yesterday that it was amazing and no one would guess it was not my hair…knowing me and knowing how brilliant this one is, I will probably order a second one in time…I did think I wouldn’t wear it all the time at home but I just can’t leave it off.”

“I had arranged to play golf yesterday morning but asked…my best friend if she would meet me a bit late so I could speak to her before facing the rest of the group, giving them a chance to get on the course before us.  I drove into the car park and they were all waiting for me! [My best friend] had tried to say for them to go but they insisted on waiting for me.  You can imagine the state I was in.  [My best friend] cam to my car and smiled when she looked at me and then I burst into tears.  She then came and sat in my car and asked me what was wrong – more tears and then I said “its my hair” to which she replied “it looks beautiful”.  By this time, the others were concerned about me but they were brilliant so I relaxed and we played 9 holes.  After playing, we went into the restaurant for coffee and just inside the main door was a table with six more ladies sat there.  One said “…I like your hair, have you had it coloured?”.  Then they all agreed and I had to do a twirl.  I didn’t say a word.  It is Club day tomorrow so there will be more ladies but I am not feeling too bad about it after yesterday’s reaction.  You were right when you said people will just think I have changed my style.  So, I am still smiling! It is absolutely brilliant.  My husband keeps commenting on how lovely it looks so I am a really happy bunny.”

Wish for a wedding would like to thank Hilary for her help with Tracy Gordon and Jay’s wedding. Jay has terminal cancer and hasn’t long now. So their wedding had to be moved forward. Jay’s last wish is for him and fiancé to marry. Hilary, along with other wonderful suppliers in the area have all pulled together to donate their time and services to this couple and we are extremely grateful. Tracy had her makeup and hair trial yesterday and was so pleased. Hilary was sensitive to the situation and made her feel special so thank you so much. Look forward to the wedding day to meet you xx

The morning of my wedding was so stressful and then Hilary arrived and changed the atmosphere altogether. It was like a friend arriving not like someone we had only met once before. she knew exactly what we wanted before we finished explaining. I cannot believe how talented she is and how fast and easy she makes it look. Beautiful makeup and hair lasted till the next day. I booked the best and I love my wedding hair.
